Torraccia di Presura is based in a new farm, built up following the rules of the Tuscany country house and respecting the historical architecture style. New equipments and modern technologies on ancient land for a strong motivation to cultivate and to produce in the maximum respect of the local atmosphere. This farm has lands optimally exposed, poor, light, pebbly, where the grape harvests are premature and of great quality: the best guarantees for the high level of produced wines. The wine cellars modernly equipped with inox steel vats (1900 hl) to guarantee the maximum quality and hygiene to the processes and preservation of the wine, while the aging (200 hl) happens in Rovere's barrels. Then wines have a refinig process in glass (bottles) at least 6 months before the distribution.

Classification: red wine Chianti Classico with controlled and certified Denomination of Origin Controllata and with ulterior brand of quality 'Historical Brand'.

Grapes: Selected grapes Sangiovese with the addition, since vintage 2000, of a small percentage of Merlot; bottled since 1992.

Preparation of the wine:
first fermentation with maceration in inox steel tanks with temperature mainteined between 25° and 28°c for approximately 20 days with 2 manual movements every day It endures a passage in small Rovere's (wood) barrels and, after is bottled for at least 6 months.

Characteristics: ruby colour, beautiful scent of muture fruit with floreal notes of underbrush, violet and iris. Very structured, balanced and fine, it has a beautiful body and a good persistence.

Alcool: 12,5%

Ready to the consumption after more than 1 year, Torraccia di Presura conserve his better characteristics for successive 6-8 years.

Temperature of service: 18°c

Combinations: red and white meats, pasta, matured cheeses, meats and grilled vegetables.
