| Torraccia di Presura is based in a new farm,
built up following the rules of the Tuscany country house and respecting
the historical architecture style. New equipments and modern technologies
on ancient land for a strong motivation to cultivate and to produce
in the maximum respect of the local atmosphere. This farm has lands
optimally exposed, poor, light, pebbly, where the grape harvests
are premature and of great quality: the best guarantees for the
high level of produced wines. The wine cellars modernly equipped
with inox steel vats (1900 hl) to guarantee the maximum quality
and hygiene to the processes and preservation of the wine, while
the aging (200 hl) happens in Rovere's barrels. Then wines have
a refinig process in glass (bottles) at least 6 months before the
distribution. |

Olive Oil (Extra Vergine)

The "Torraccia di Presura" Extra Vergine Olive Oil is a high quality
product with great value organoleptic peculiarities.
It is obtained from Frantoio, Moraiolo, Leccino and Pendolino olives,
hand taken in November, by the ancient method of the cold pressing
done within 48 hours from the crop.
Strong green colour with some yellow tendencies when it is just
produced evidencing richness and prominence of the product; it is
full of particles showing it opalescent, translucent and of medium
density.
The acidity is 0,1-0,2%.
The aromatic characteristic is strong. The fragrance is yield and
persistent, peculiar in the oil just pressed. Mellow in the taste,
with the particular sting on the base that is lost in the time with
new sensations of erbes and with a soft taste of artichocks or cardoon.
A months go by it obtain a natural clearing and at the same time
it can have a light ground on the bottom of the bottle that it isn't
a deficiency but rather it evidence the natural productive method. |
