| Torraccia di Presura is based in a new farm,
built up following the rules of the Tuscany country house and respecting
the historical architecture style. New equipments and modern technologies
on ancient land for a strong motivation to cultivate and to produce
in the maximum respect of the local atmosphere. This farm has lands
optimally exposed, poor, light, pebbly, where the grape harvests
are premature and of great quality: the best guarantees for the
high level of produced wines. The wine cellars modernly equipped
with inox steel vats (1900 hl) to guarantee the maximum quality
and hygiene to the processes and preservation of the wine, while
the aging (200 hl) happens in Rovere's barrels. Then wines have
a refinig process in glass (bottles) at least 6 months before the
distribution. |

Classification:
red tuscany wine with Typical Geographic Indication.
Grapes: grapes accurately selected of Sangiovese from vineyards
aged more than 25 years (80%) and grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon (20%)
); bottled since 1994.
Preparation of the wine: the two preparations are made separately
with maceration in inox steel tanks under controlled temperature
between 25 and 28°c for 22-24 days, with every day 2-3 manual stiring
in order to allows the maximum extraction of color and aromas. The
wine mature in french rovere barriques (vary types of wood) for
approximately 18 months than bottled and improved in glass at least
6 months before the commercialization.
Characteristics: intense red ruby colour with several shadings
with ageing. Wide smell with complex bouquet of mature red fruits,
essences of forest, spices, vanilla and liquorice; full taste, elegant,
harmonic, very balanced and much persistent. Conserve and evolve
his own best peculiarities for many years being able to be aged
along (15- 20 years).
Alcool: 13,5% - 14%
Temperature of service: 20°c
Combinations: ideal for grilled red meats , roast and stewed
game, matured cheeses. It can be tasted also like meditation wine.
