To the tenth kilometer of the Chiantigiana Road coming from Florence, Torraccia di Presura is the first farm to welcome in the Chianti Classico area. A vital fragment of new in a territory where the tradition is its strongest point. The farm extends for 44 hectares of which 24 cultivated to specialistic vineyard (13 hectares enrolled to the Chianti Classic's Consortium) and 6.5 to olive grove, with production of hl 1700 of wine and 20 q.ls of extra vergine olive oil on traditional frantoio (olive grinder). The current property based the primary objective of the business in the continuos search of the high quality of the products, thanks to the altimetric conditions and to the optimal exposure of the vineyards that allow grapes harvests of great quality and complete maturation. Over the Chianti Classico 'Il Tarocco' and 'Il Tarocco Riserva', products in specific vineyards and the Chianti Classico 'Torraccia di Presura', the farm produce some table wines high-quality as the 'Lucciolaio', successful mixture of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon that undergo lengthy aging in barriques and 'Il Roggio' particular and interesting cru of Tuscany black Canaiolo. Between the other products, the Sparkling wine of Brut Quality, the Grappa of selected vinacce (grapes and juice after first step) of Chianti Classico, the extra white wine 'Solitario' and the Extra Vergine oil of olives grinded traditionally without pre-heating.
